Fort Berens Estate Winery – August Long Weekend

This session at Fort Berens in Lillooet captured the unique character of the winery during the height of summer. I photographed bottle collections in both studio-style and natural light setups, experimenting with two different lighting approaches to give the team options for web and print use.

Alongside the product work, I focused on storytelling images of the winery and surrounding landscape — weaving in vineyard details, the tasting room, and seasonal atmosphere.

My goal was to ensure the whites stayed crisp and clean but never sterile, with just enough warmth to feel welcoming. I also paid close attention to keeping the greens vibrant and natural, avoiding the washed-out or nitrogen-deficient tones that can flatten vineyard imagery.

The result is a collection of images that balance precision with personality — versatile enough for marketing campaigns while staying true to the Fort Berens story.
